Construction industry is one of key contributors of India’s GDP, both directly and indirectly. In the last few years the Indian construction industry has been witness to slowdown owing to the slump in global economic as a key factor. But in last few months the construction and infrastructure sector is showing signs of revival owing to the Indian government’s initiative plans like building 100 smart cities, urban rejuvenation, affordable housing and increased focus on railways and roadways sector. This has helped even the construction equipment sector to revive and boost growth after years of slump.
A good indicator of this change in market sentiment is being reflected with exhibitor participation we are seeing at the Bauma Conexpo India 2016 show, a trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction machinery is being held from December 12 to 15, 2016 at the HUDA grounds Sector 29 in Gurgaon/Delhi.
The coinciding program will include seminars, panel discussions and awards on various aspects concerning the construction equipment industry. More than 700 exhibitors and over 30,000 business visitors are expected to grace the Bauma Conexpo India 2016.
