Shomendra has over 40 years of experience in the field and has personally developed products meeting international standards. He has been co-opted to the (American) Steel Water Pipe Manufacturers Technical Advisory Committee, SWPMTAC. The committee’s coatings and linings group assists the American Water Works Association (AWWA) in developing AWWA Standards, such as AWWA C222. He is also a Select Panel Member of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for IS 16719:2022 “Polyurethane Coatings For Steel Pipes & Fittings”.
