iRAM Technologies, a homegrown product development and technology company with the most advanced solutions based on the Internet of Things (IoT), has won four large projects for smart pole, smart street lighting and smart parking city assets in the smart cities of Dahod, Kohima, Pimpri Chinchwad and Rajkot. iRAM has won these projects in partnerships with leading conglomerates and system integrators in the Smart City space.
iRAM will install their IoT architecture based smart parking technology which includes Smart Sensor Wireless Network (occupancy sensors, gateways and repeaters), parking management and guidance software, mobile point of sale solution, citizen mobile application and portals, boom barriers, parking information displays and various other field accessories at smart cities of Pimpri Chinchwad and Rajkot.
Indigenously developed smart poles which can house multiple utilities like street lighting, environment monitoring, information displays, PA system, cameras, panic alarm buttons, telecom antennas etc. will be installed in smart cities of Kohima and Dahod.
In Kohima, iRAM Technologies is also implementing the most advanced and latest smart street lighting technology. An intelligent motion sensor street lighting control system that automatically activates when a car or a pedestrian is noticed in the area is being deployed. If there is no activity in the area, the light is automatically adjusted to an optimized minimum light level. A robust IT backbone consisting of Smart Sensor Wireless Network (SSWN) and central street light management network will monitor and provide uptimes even in the remotest of the areas in Kohima.
Furthermore, iRAM received a repeat order from the Smart City of Bhubaneshwar and its MSI Partner Honeywell for automating multi-level car parking facilities in Bhubaneshwar.
As per Vishal Mehra, VP Sales, iRAM Technologies, “Repeat orders from our customers boosts our confidence to innovate further. This further validates our product, innovation, engineering, effective project management and solution delivery methodology.”
With these new orders, iRAM has consolidated its market positioning in the Indian smart city asset Management domain and effectively promoted its “Making urban living convenient” motto. These assets will be able to provide citizens convenience and will effectively help the city administration to monetise these assets either through increased value/revenue or through bringing energy efficiency in the case of street lighting assets.
