JCB India unveils new JS205LC tracked excavatorJCB India Ltd., India’s one of the largest manufacturers of construction equipment, has unveiled new JS205LC tracked excavator, developed and manufactured in India for Indian market. With its rugged structure, best-in-class operator controls and whole range of technological innovations, the JS205LC is all set to create a new benchmark in the premium excavator segment in India. Low fuel consumption in excavation results in fuel savings worth Rs. 1.3 lakh per year.

JS205LC is well suited for applications such as earthwork, quarrying, road construction etc. The new excavator comes with the gross engine power of 106 KW and a bucket capacity of 0.8-1.02 cubic m.JCB also proudly announces the addition of JCB 432ZX wheel loader in its wide range of products. With the ability to dump at the centre of wagon and high-bodied trucks, the new JCB 432ZX is regarded as the most productive wheel loader.
JCB 432ZX wheel loader exhibits exceptional performance in all kind of applications such as roadwork, mass excavation, and pipe work and other underground installations, highway maintenance, foundation work, waste/ recycling, crushers etc.
In India, JCB has three manufacturing facilities: two in Talegaon near Pune and one in Ballabgarh in Haryana with a combined installed capacity of 40,000 units per annum. To meet the increasing demand in domestic market, JCB plans to invest Rs. 500 crore in the next 5 years to set up a facility in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Talking about the company’s market share, Mr Sondhiw shared, “Our overall market share in India is over 50 per cent. In India, of the total market of excavators, 20-tonne excavator is almost 50 per cent. So we will be looking at increasing our market share in the business.”
