KPT Piping Systems leading India’s PPR revolution
Through its commitment to quality and innovation, KPT Piping Systems has emerged as a market leader in producing PPR pipes and fittings.
Since its inception in 2007, KPT Piping Systems Private Limited has grown from a small manufacturer to India’s largest producer of PPR pipes and fittings. Over the years, KPT has set benchmarks in the industry in terms of scale and innovation, quality, and leadership.
As a modest venture, KPT has grown exponentially, establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Dehradun with a monthly production capacity of 1,500 MT. With the upcoming expansion, the company is poised to achieve a turnover of USD 100 million, a testament to its relentless pursuit of excellence.
At the core of KPT’s success is its commitment to quality. The company sources 100 percent of its raw materials from Hyosung Chemicals, South Korea, world’s largest producer of PPR resin with an MRS value of 12.5 MPa. This partnership ensures that KPT’s products meet the highest global standards, offering unparalleled reliability.
KPT has always been at the forefront of innovation. It was the first in India to introduce PPR pipes with an aluminium layer in the middle, revolutionising the industry. The company also led the way by receiving NSF certification for PPR pipes in potable water applications and introducing PPR for firefighting applications. These milestones underscore KPT’s role as a pioneer in the PPR piping industry.
“Our journey has been one of continuous innovation and investment in R&D. We are proud to lead the way in PPR technology, not just in India but globally,” says Ankur Periwal, Managing Director of KPT Piping Systems.
KPT’s influence extends beyond India’s borders. The company has been instrumental in showcasing India’s capabilities on the global stage through participation in technical exhibitions across Africa, South Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. This outreach has expanded KPT’s network to include industrial, building, and government domestic and international projects.
Looking ahead, KPT is set to diversify its product portfolio by launching PVC pipes for sewage, waste, and rainwater management in the building segment. Additionally, the company is launching India’s largest PPR pipe with a diameter of 630 mm for industrial applications—a significant leap forward in the industry.
KPT’s growth story is a shining example of how visionary leadership and commitment to quality and innovation can transform a small manufacturer into an industry leader. As the company continues to expand its horizons, it remains dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the market’s evolving needs, both in India and around the world.
