Shyam Metalics presents SEL Tiger Sheets for stronger roofs

Shyam Metalics launches SEL Tiger Roofing Sheets, which provide durable, appealing, and environmentally friendly solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential applications.

Shyam Metalics, a renowned name in the steel business, is delighted to announce the debut of SEL Tiger Roofing Sheets. This strategic addition reaffirms the company’s dedication to innovation and diversification, adapting to the changing needs of the construction and infrastructure industries.

The launch of SEL Tiger Roofing Sheets coincides with Shyam Metalics’ Greenfield Cold Rolling Mill development in Jamuria, West Bengal. This plant is dedicated to producing high-quality GI/GL coils and Pre-Painted Galvalume Coils (PPGL), which serve as the foundation for long-lasting and visually appealing roofing solutions.

This PLI-approved project, developed by Shyam Metalics Flat Products Pvt Ltd, spans 55 acres and is divided into two parts. The total CAPEX investment is ₹603 crore. Phase I began operations in September 2024 and has an initial production capacity of 2,50,000 tonnes, with Phase II adding an additional 1,50,000 tonnes, bringing the overall capacity to 4,00,000 tonnes.

Shyam Metalics’ SEL Tiger Roofing Sheets brand provides a varied selection of high-performance roofing solutions tailored to specific demands. The SEL TIGER Royale collection includes ultra-premium colour-coated sheets for improved durability and splendour. The SEL TIGER ELITE collection includes superior colour-coated sheets that blend strength and visual appeal. The SEL TIGER AZURE range features Galvalume wider sheets, which are noted for their improved strength and corrosion resistance. At last, the SEL TIGER ALFA line includes Galvalume thin sheets, which provide a low-cost, high-quality roofing option. Together, these solutions provide durability, style, and value for a variety of roofing needs.

These sheets have unrivalled corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, thermal efficiency, and a variety of aesthetic alternatives, making them suitable for industrial, commercial, and residential applications.
