In this interaction, Rahul Shah walks us through Mangalam Industries’ product portfolio, their seven-stage quality-check process, and how their services to architects and builders go beyond just offering products.

Can you speak more about your products and which industries they are applicable in?
We primarily manufacture hardware for aluminium system windows, which are among the latest in the market. We also manufacture customised hardware for the recently introduced Italian and European window systems. Additionally, we manufacture hardware for extrusion systems.

Can you provide a brief description of the quality control process you follow to ensure the quality of your products?
Our hardware products go through a seven-stage quality check process. First, during the design phase, third-party checks are carried out. We proceed with the mould development and mould design stage only after this approval. The stages of our manufacturing process include designing, moulding, assembly, checking, product inspection, and packaging. Third-party laboratories test all our products. Our products are certified for durability testing, cycle testing, and load testing by Winwall Technology, Chennai. Currently, we follow European EN standards, as they are globally accepted. We are already certified by EN standards and have recently applied for BIS certification from the Indian government.

What are the technologies you use in your manufacturing process?
We operate with 18 state-of-the-art machines based on VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) technologies. Traditional manual operations are being replaced as the world shifts towards automated CNC-based systems. We are utilising advanced VMC machines and are already implementing the latest automation technologies in our manufacturing process.

How are your products advantageous to architects, builders, and developers?
Our hardware is developed and designed per European standards and tested by third-party labs for durability, cycle, and load testing. Additionally, we have tailored our products for Indian conditions. For example, we use anti-corrosive and anti-rust materials such as stainless steel 304, nylon products, and aluminium to cater to structures in coastal regions. We offer an 8-year guarantee. According to RERA, builders must offer a 5-year guarantee post-possession. Since most projects take at least 36 months, our 8-year guarantee aligns well with these timelines. Builders can confidently use our products, and architects can include them in their specifications.

We are a well-established company operating across 28 Indian states & union territories. We customise our policies based on consumer requirements. Even after project completion, we continue to provide service, staying true to our 8-year guarantee commitment.

What message do you want to give to architects and builders?
I want to share that with 22 years of experience and expertise in the industry, we welcome builders and architects to approach us for consultations regarding window sizes, designs, noise-cancelling windows, hardware products, and material-related queries. We offer free consultations and provide the most suitable materials per project requirements. Our in-house manufacturing plant in Bhiwandi ensures timely and cost-effective supply. We also offer an 8-year replacement facility. In addition, we provide technical solutions such as assembly drawings and window fitting measurements at the initial stages of consultation, which will help architects and builders choose the right product.
