Mahindra Conveyor Systems inaugurates new facility near Pune [Jan 2012]

Mahindra Conveyor Systems (MCS), one of the leading suppliers of material handling equipment and systems, inaugurated its new facility at Ambadwet in Pirangut near Pune. It comprises of factory sheds of approx 10,000 sq. m. which are well equipped for manufacturing and surface finishing and an office block spread across 1100 sq. m.
 “Our new Ambadwet facility incorporates the latest facilities for fabrication of conveyor systems and components and will cater to the growing demand for conveyor products. It boasts of a 10,000 sq. mt fabrication facility with modern equipment, including metal forming and welding equipment, shot blasting, paint booth and oven. It also has a waste and effluent treatment plant to treat and recycle waste generated during the manufacturing process,” said Zhooben Bhiwandiwala, Executive Vice-President & Managing Partner – Mahindra Partners Division, Mahindra & Mahindra.
