GPT bags orders worth 46.52 crore [Mar 2012]

GPT Infraprojects Limited (GPT) recently bagged orders valued at Rs. 46.52 crore. The first order consists of construction of RUB of span (1×18.3 m) resting on pile foundation of 1.2 m dia with composite girder as superstructure and construction of one RUB span (1×76.2) resting on pile foundation of 1.5m dia with open web through girder as superstructure along with other ancillary works in connection with construction of new line in between Dhubulia and Charatala. This project is being carried out for Eastern Railway with a value of Rs.15.08 crore and the completion period is 15 months. This contract is adjacent to existing project which shall culminate into saving in overheads.
Another work order consists of civil works for 400/220KV extension yard and 400KV AC Yard including filter areas associated with + 800KV NE-Agra HVDC project at Agra in Uttar Pradesh. The client is Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and the order valued at Rs.31.44 crore scheduled to be completed in 28 months. This is the company’s first project with BHEL.
