Brief us about Jindal Buildsys.Jindal Buildsys Ltd. is one of India’s growing building solutions companies. Except pre-engineered buildings, what are the different products your company offers?Jindal Buildsys is a turnkey solution provider and undertakes steel building projects on concept to completion basis. Our company also offers steel structures for a wide range of applications.
What are the application areas?Our customised, optimal designed building products are used in a spectrum of industries, ranging from industrial buildings/sheds, metro stations and workshops, airports, warehouses, multistorey steel buildings, aircraft hangers and sun shelters to bridges, and cold storages.
Any major projects you have done recently?Jindal Buildsys is the only company which has done five depots along with 20 metro stations, valuing at about 100 crore in the last 2-3 years. These include most prestigious Chattarpur Metro station which is the first metro station built completely in steel. Then MD of DMRC, E. Sridharan had shown personal interest in making it possible. Besides, JBL has successfully executed prestigious rail coach factory project at Raebareli in record time. Now, we are working on five mega aircraft hangers for Military Engineering Services (MES) which are at different stages of execution.
What is the demand for these products?The demand for these products is very high. The PEB industry is growing 30 per cent every year. Many players have entered, but the demand is increasing continuously.
What are the growth drivers?These industries provide the turnkey solution where buyers don’t need to worry for timeline or quality of the materials. When you get everything under one roof, the acceptance of products is getting larger day by day, and the growth is immense.
Do you have manufacturing facility?Yes, we have three state-of-the-art plants. We have one plant each in Himachal Pradesh, Gurgaon, and Bawal. The 30,000-square-metre Bawal plant is equipped with most modern automated plants and machineries to manufacture any type of intricate building structures. This PEB manufacturing plant with the capacity of 100,000 tonnes per annum has brought JBL among top 2-3 PEB manufactures with large manufacturing capacity in India.
Any expansion plans in the future?Our present infrastructure and manufacturing capacity can cater to the needs of growing industry for the next 4-5 years. We are now thinking to focus on diversification in other related areas like multistorey buildings, ROBs as well as LGFS (Light Gauge Framing System) structures. We may go for more products where we can have more value additions.
What is your turn over?Our current turn over for PEB segment is Rs. 200 crore. Our group turnover is around Rs. 430 crore.
