Hitachi promotes Noida’s urban mobility via CRC project

Hitachi Lift India receives a 56-unit contract from CRC The Flagship in Noida, involving high-speed lifts and escalators.

Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501; hereafter Hitachi) announces that Hitachi Building Systems Co., Ltd. (hereafter Hitachi Building Systems) and Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. (hereafter Hitachi Lift India), a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. that operates sales, installation and maintenance of lifts and escalators in India, have successfully secured an order from CRC Group for 56 units of lifts and escalators for CRC The Flagship in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The project is one of the most prestigious commercial developments in Noida.

The order includes 44 lifts, including high-speed lifts with rated speeds of 180 or 150 m/min, 12 escalators and an efficient destination floor reservation system for lift vehicles. The lifts contain an earthquake emergency operation system, which senses an earthquake and promptly stops the lift on the next floor, allowing passengers to exit without being trapped. These elements ensure users’ safety, security, and comfort.
