bauma 2013 gets underway

As soon as one event comes to a close, it’s time to start work on the next: that’s the nature of the trade fair business. For bauma, too, preparations are now underway for 2013 when the fair takes place from 15 to 21 April at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. Applications are invited from exhibitors wishing to take part in the 30th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment. Prospective exhibitors can now fill in application forms for themselves and their co‑exhibitors and send them by post or fax, or alternatively – for the first time – complete the whole procedure online, at www.bauma.de. The deadline for receipt of applications is 2 March 2012.

Bauma is the international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment. The last bauma, in 2010, attracted 3,256 exhibitors from 53 countries, and over 4,20,000 visitors from more than 200 nations. Covering a total of 5,55,000 square metres of exhibition space, bauma is the largest trade show in the world. The statistics for the fair are independently audited by Ernst & Young AG on behalf of the Gesellschaft zur Freiwilligen Kontrolle von Messe-und Ausstellungszahlen (FKM), a society for the voluntary control of fair and exhibition statistics.
