DMIC clears 9 projects; expects investment of Rs. 1.2 lakh cr
Giving a thrust to infrastructure development in the country, government-run DMIC cleared nine projects that would entail an investment of Rs.1.20 lakh crore.
The nine projects include integrated industrial township at Greater Noida, improvement of water supply system to Pithampur-Dhar-Mhow Investment Region in Madhya Pradesh, integrated multimodal logistics hub in Haryana and construction of new rail line from Bhimnath to Dholera.
Integrated industrial township at Greater Noida, which is an initiative of DMIC to drive manufacturing activity in the region in order to promote sustainable development, is expected an investment of Rs.33,000 crore. Similarly, the logistic hub at Greater Noida near Dadri would see an investment of around Rs.35,000 crore.
