DPIIT and JK Cement to collaborate to transform India’s manufacturing ecosystem

The MoU between the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and JK Cement is aimed to strengthen India’s manufacturing system by empowering entrepreneurs and product start-ups.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry has signed an MoU with JK Cement for supporting new businesses, which is expected to boost our country’s manufacturing landscape. The collaboration, aimed to reshape India into a global manufacturing hub, is sure to enable access to cutting-edge infrastructure, modern manufacturing facilities, state-of-the-art research facilities, and mentorship opportunities.

Quoting the MoU as a start-up-friendly endeavour, Sanjiv Singh, Joint Secretary, DPIIT opined, “It is a right step in the direction of creating synergies with JK Cement to build a conducive environment for start-ups and innovators.
