HCL signed agreement with Manitowoc Cranes
HCL Technologies Ltd. has announced that it has been selected by the Manitowoc Company, Inc. as its global engineering partner for the crane operations spanning the Americas, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific regions. Manitowoc and HCL have also set up a global engineering centre in Pune to accelerate its new product development initiatives in emerging regions such as India, China, and Brazil.
Through this design centre, HCL offers a complete engineering service to Manitowoc Cranes to produce blueprints for new, innovative crane models. The design centre also extends engineering design support to Manitowoc’s key engineering hubs and innovation centres in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Germany, France, and Italy. The service offerings are primarily focused around product design, value engineering, structural engineering, embedded software development, and hardware engineering.
