India urged to follow PPP in road sector

The France’s Minister of State for Transport, Thierry Mariani, called on C.P. Joshi, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, to take advantage of French Government’s public-private-partnership (PPP) in roads and highways construction.
 
Mariani emphasized on good quality roads and hoped that the PPP road construction projects will help in creation of more jobs for Indians. He added that foreign direct investment in the country would increase due to such projects.
