ISH 2025 features cutting-edge HVAC and water innovations

ISH 2025, the world’s largest HVAC and water trade expo, will be held in Frankfurt and will feature over 2,000 global exhibitors showcasing pioneering sustainable solutions.

The world’s biggest HVAC + Water trade exhibition, ISH, will take place in Frankfurt am Main from March 17 to 21, 2025. Over 2,000 exhibitors from 55 countries have signed up to present cutting-edge solutions for a wide range of HVAC and water-related applications, including modern bathroom design, sustainable heating and air-conditioning technology, and smart homes. The various exhibitors include market giants and speciality enterprises that generate a plethora of creative ideas.

ISH 2025, with the tagline ‘Solutions for a Sustainable Future’, will prioritise climate protection and energy efficiency. The construction sector, as the greatest source of CO₂ emissions, has significant potential to achieve climate targets. The trade expo focuses on cutting-edge technologies and concepts for ecologically friendly and efficient heat generation, water conservation, and clean, sanitary air. Furthermore, this creative hub will be defined by a new, transparent, and modern event structure consisting of eight solution sectors, each of which is exactly targeted to guests’ interests.

Eight solution areas for sustainable building-services technologies

The new concept being launched at ISH 2025 centres on eight solution fields in which exhibitors present their innovative technologies and concepts, allowing visitors to find solutions that match their unique needs and areas of interest.

Bathroom Solutions

Private bathrooms represent comfort, functionality, and modern design, whether at home or in the hospitality business. Bette, Burgbad, Duravit, Geberit, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Ideal Standard, Laufen, Kaldewei, Roca, Toto, Villeroy & Boch, and Vitra will exhibit their private bathroom solutions in Halls 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2, 5.0, and 5.1, as well as in the Forum. Hall 3.0 focuses on solutions for the semi-public and industrial sectors, such as offices, airports, retail centres, and schools.

Exhibitors include Benkiser, Delabie, KWC Professional, Les Robinets Presto, Schell, and Stern. Sanitary installation companies, such as Alcadrain, Dallmer, Geberit, and Tece, will also take centre stage in Hall 3.0, as will firms specialising in care-sector bathrooms, which will offer solutions for unique needs in hospitals and nursing homes. Companies in the SPAs and pool & wellness industry will showcase their new products and designs in Hall 3.1, which will include opulent hotel spas, private wellness retreats, and public swimming pools.

Water-bearing system solutions

The ‘Water-bearing Systems’ solution field blends novel methods to current water management with energy-efficient heating technologies. The participating firms are planning to demonstrate technology for safe drinking water supply, intelligent water management, and effective water treatment. This spectrum is supplemented by modern building drainage systems, as well as sustainable green roof and facade concepts that incorporate advanced irrigation and drainage technologies. This category also includes non-potable water and rainwater management systems, such as rainwater collection, storage, and distribution. In addition, exhibitors in this solution sector will demonstrate efficient panel heating solutions for the heating circuit, allowing rooms to be heated sustainably and comfortably.

Exhibitors covering these topics include Aalberts integrated plumbing systems, BWT, GF Building Flow Solutions, Grünbeck, Judo, Rehau, Roth Werke, Valsir, and Viega in Halls 4.0, 4.2, and 6.0, respectively. Suppliers of green roof and facade solutions will make their initial presentations in the dedicated ‘Green Roofs & Facades’ section at the entrance of Halls 5.1 and 6.1. Heating circuit specialists can be located in the exhibition centre’s western portion, Halls 9.0 and 9.1. Some of the firms exhibiting their goods are Caleffi, Danfoss, Giacomini, Grundfos, KSB, Oventrop, Reflex Winkelmann, SFA, and Wilo.

Installation Solutions

Modern installation systems and technologies are critical in the sanitation and HVAC industries. Exhibitors in Hall 6.1 include Adolf Würth, Bott, Fischerwerke, Novopress, Rems, Rothenberger, Wöhler, and WVG, who provide a diverse range of tools, fastening solutions, and concepts for efficient operation, storage, and transportation. Furthermore, ‘Treffpunkt Handwerk’, a gathering area for craftsmen, provides practical ideas to make their daily work easier, while the ISH Festival creates a fun atmosphere with an adventure trail and influencers on-site.

Heat generation solutions

ISH provides a diverse range of options for renewable heat generation. Halls 12.0, 12.1, and 10.1 concentrates on electricity-based heating systems that integrate heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, and home storage units. The exhibitor list includes Bosch, Buderus, Daikin, Kermi, LG, Midea, Mitsubishi, Nibe, Samsung, Stiebel Eltron, Vaillant, Viessmann, Weishaupt, and Wolf. In Hall 11.0, exhibitors such as Atec, BHT Windhager, Fröling, Hargassner, Herz, Jeremias, ÖkoFEN, Schräder, and Wodtke showcase biomass heating systems that combine sustainable wood heat with solar thermal energy and efficient gas flues.

In Halls 11.0, 12.0, and 12.1, visitors will find gas and liquid-based heating systems that use innovative energy sources such as e-fuels, biomethane, and hydrogen. Hall 9.1 will cover local and district heating, with exhibitors displaying solutions for heating network infrastructure and heat transfer into buildings.

Indoor-air solutions

Innovative ventilation and air-conditioning technology improves the air quality in (non-) residential buildings, data centres, educational and healthcare facilities, as well as in production and retail buildings. At this year’s ISH, exhibitors such as ebm-papst, Helios, Howatherm, Kampmann, Swegon, Systemair, Trox and Wolf will be showcasing innovative ventilation and air-conditioning systems and devices for improving indoor air quality for greater well-being and comfort in Halls 8.0 and 10.1.

Intelligent building-management solutions

The focus in Hall 11.1 is on building automation, energy management, smart home & home energy management, and maintenance. There, exhibitors such as ABB, EQ-3, Hosch, KNX, Loytec, Phoenix Contact, Sauter-Cumulus, Schneider, Siemens and Wago will be presenting devices and systems that use networking to ensure greater energy efficiency, comfort and safety within buildings.

Software solutions

Digital technologies and software solutions are critical for planning and improving efficiency in both new and existing structures. They are also required for building management, offices, and business. Hall 8.0 is the focal point for these advancements. Exhibitors will include Hero, Hottgenroth, liNear, pds, OneCrew, Streit, ToolTime, and Trimble.

Solutions for Sanitary and HVAC Production

A wide range of high-quality components is required for sanitary and HVAC production. These components must meet the special requirements of sanitary, heating, and air-conditioning systems. The new ISH hall layout groups component providers directly with the necessary solution field. Participating exhibitors include Afriso, Belimo, Möhlenhoff, Neoperl, Flühs, Sermeta, Thermokon, and Wieland-Werke.
