KEC International secures orders worth Rs.1,212 Cr [Feb 2012]

KEC International Ltd. (KEC) has bagged new orders worth Rs.1,212 crore, of this Rs.723 crore orders are in the transmission business, Rs.253 crore orders are in power systems for substation works, Rs.82 crore orders are in the water business, Rs.105 crore orders are in the cable business and Rs.49 crore in the telecom business.  The India order is from PGCIL for the construction of 400kV/220kV Tumkur New AIS Substation and 400kV Gooti substation extension in Karnataka.
