L&T achieves major infrastructure construction contract with NAINA

L&T acquires the NAINA project for integrated infrastructure in Maharashtra, which includes roads, recognisable bridges, and electrical improvements, sanctioned by CIDCO.

In accordance with the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) Project in Maharashtra, the Transportation Infrastructure vertical of L&T secures an order for the Integrated Infrastructure Development project in Town Planning Schemes 2 through 7. The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) approves the project for the construction of numerous large and minor structures, connected electrical works, and integrated infrastructure development of 60- and 45-meter wide highways.

The project will have four 13.28-kilometer approach roads with nine major structures – three iconic steel bridges that span the Kalundre River and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway as addition to twelve lesser bridges, twenty-seven underpasses, and approaches to the structures. Utility and associated electrical work construction is also a part of the project.
