Mumbai hosts 4th edition of Estate Summit and Awards 2012

The 4th edition of Franchise India’s Estate Summit and Awards 2012 took place in Mumbai on 18th December 2012. The Estate Summit focuses on the real estate industry, issues pertaining to the important role of real estate in the economy, development of best practices in areas such as brokerage, commissions, licensing and code of ethics.
The conference witnessed imminent speakers like Niranjan Hiranandani, CMD, Hirandani group; Anil Harish, Advocate, D.M Harish Advocates and Co; Sunil Mantri, CMD Mantri Group; Gulam Zia, Executive Director, Knight Franks and Kishore Bhatija, CEO, Inorbit Mall. This was followed by the Estate Awards 2012 which honoured personalities from the real estate spectrum, including developers, service providers and professionals for outstanding performance, while maintaining transparency and innovation in every fold of business they aspire to do.
Award winners at the Estate Summit are Kanakia Group winning commercial developer of the year (West India). Residential developer of the year (West India) was awarded to Hirnandani Group. Runwal Group wins retail developer of the year (West India). Mantri Realty Group bags Emerging Developer of the year, Residential West India.
The best budget housing developer of the year (West India) was given to GHP. Kolte Patil Developers Ltd wins best affordable housing developer of the year (West India). Best luxury/ premium housing developer of the year (West India) award was given to Orbit Corporation. The Capitol of The Wadhwa Group wins commercial project of the year award (West India). Luxury project of the year (West India) was given to Ahuja Towers from Ahuja Construction.
Inorbit bagged most preferred shopping mall of the year (West India). Babulal Verma from Omkar Realtors and Developers Pvt Ltd won GHP Male Professional of the year (West India), while female professional of the year (West India) was given to Manju Yagnik of Nahar Group. Outstanding contribution to real estate sector through growth in home loans (West India) went to PNB Housing. Corporate broker of the year for West India was given to HDFC Realty. Nitish Gangaramani, Director Al Fara'a Group won Young Achievers Award (West India ). Best real estate consultant of the year award (West India) went to Knight Frank.
