Samsung C&T to build convention centre in Mumbai
Samsung C&T has signed a contract with Reliance Industries (RIL) for the construction (or EPC) of the Dhirubhai Ambani International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DAICEC) in Mumbai.
DAICEC is a mixed use development project located within the heart of Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), a commercial complex in the suburbs of Mumbai. Covering 75,000 sq.m. of prime land with 788,340 sq.m. of operational area, it will house a convention and exhibition centre, a state-of-the-art auditorium, a cultural plaza, serviced apartments and an office block. The contract is worth $ 678 million and the construction is expected to be completed by 2017.
