ULCCS launches U-Sphere for high-tech sustainable construction

ULCCS reveals U-Sphere, a high-tech, sustainable construction venture, expanding into Karnataka and Tamil Nadu with ₹ 2,000 crore investment and job creation.

Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society (ULCCS) recently launched U-Sphere, a specialised endeavour into futuristic, high-tech and environmentally friendly building construction solutions, as part of its 100th anniversary celebrations. This strategic expansion puts ULCCS, Asia’s largest labour cooperative, at the forefront of next-generation infrastructure construction, utilising cutting-edge modular and sustainable building techniques.

U-Sphere will concentrate on innovative, pre-engineered, and precision-built structures, resulting in speedier completion than traditional construction methods. The program is consistent with ULCCS’ commitment to innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in the construction industry.

Beyond Kerala, ULCCS intends to launch U-Sphere in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, with a target of ₹2,000 crores in public infrastructure and commercial and industrial projects. Furthermore, the cooperative intends to create 1,000 new jobs over the next five years, replicating its successful Kerala model in these areas.
