XCMG acquires stake in Schwing Stetter [20 Apr 2012]

XCMG, a large-scale enterprise group in China’s construction machinery industry, has acquired a majority stake in German construction equipment manufacturer Schwing Stetter. The official sources at Schwing Stetter confirmed the report, however the details on the percentage of shares are yet to be announced. This is one of the major developments happened in construction equipment industry post the acquisition of Putzmeister by Sany Heavy Industry in January this year.
