Maharashtra mulling over extra FSI for green homes

With a view to encourage green homes, the Maharashtra government is considering providing extra FSI to developers complying with green homes norms. According to Valsa R Nair Singh, environment secretary at Maharashtra ministry, “Right now I would not want to step into the subject of giving extra FSI (floor space index) for green homes but we are looking into it.”
