Danfoss India is pleased to announce its involvement in these historic projects, which come in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent opening of the permanent campuses of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) in Bodh Gaya and Vishakhapatnam. By installing their state-of-the-art Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) at the corresponding esteemed educational institutions, the Global Energy Efficient player is advancing their cause towards a sustainable India.

Danfoss is enabling energy efficiency, greater machine productivity, reduced emissions, lower energy consumption, enabling electrification, and promoting sustainable growth by installing their energy-efficient technology at the corresponding flagship campuses. Strategically placed in vital systems such as cooling towers, water pumps, and air handling units are Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). These drives efficiently optimise energy consumption and operating performance by dynamically adjusting motor speed in response to shifting load demands.

Pressure Independent Balancing and Control Valves (PIBCVs) are specialised valves that Danfoss supplies to help improve the performance of heating and cooling systems. These valves regulate the amount of hot or cold water that flows through the system to maintain the ideal temperature in buildings. They ensure that the system only consumes what it needs, saving energy and avoiding the need for ongoing modifications. Buildings can maintain comfort levels while reducing energy and maintenance costs using Danfoss PIBCVs.

After a thorough site evaluation to identify important applications, examine power quality issues, and strategically place VFDs and PIBCVs on the premium campuses, comprehensive solutions were put into place. Following the outcomes of the site evaluation, a customised solution design was created to satisfy IIM’s particular requirements while guaranteeing adherence to industry standards.

As part of India’s Decarbonisation Mission, Danfoss India is essential in delivering sustainable solutions in key sectors. Danfoss’ cutting-edge VFDs Drive Energy Efficiency across Varied Industries, from the Marine Pumps Sector to the Healthcare Sector, such as the latest AIIMS cooperation.
