CASE launches new backhoe loaders, compactors at EXCON

CASE Construction Equipment announced the launch of its new EX Series backhoe loaders and 1107 DX compactors in Bengaluru. CASE will be showcasing the new models during the EXCON 2013, South Asia’s key construction equipment event to be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru, from 20 to 24 November.
 
The new EX Series backhoe loaders, entirely developed in India to match the specific needs of the Indian construction market. The new series of CASE backhoe loaders comprises three models –770 EX, 770 EX Magnum and 851 EX – ranging from 76 hp to 96 hp.
 
“The EX series stands out for its fuel efficiency, powerful performance and reliability. The EX series backhoe loaders run a powerful and reliable S8000 engine, developed by FPT Industrial. The engine features an air aftercooler system that increases the density of the intake air, improving efficiency and decreasing fuel consumption. The powerful performance and fast response time coupled with fuel savings of up to 13 per cent make it the most fuel efficient engine in the market,” the company informed issuing a statement.
 
More than 120,000 units of this proven engine have been produced at the CNH Industrial manufacturing facility in Greater Noida to power equipment for a variety of applications, including agricultural tractors, one of which is also on show.
 
CASE also introduced the 1107 DX Vibratory Soil Compactor which completes the compactor line-up with the upgraded 752 and the smaller 450 DX. The new model takes operator comfort and safety to new levels, while delivering a reliable performance with excellent fuel efficiency. This new product delivers everything the industry would expect from the market leader of the compactor segment in India.

CASE’s offering for customers in industrial, infrastructure and agriculture applications, in addition to the already popular backhoe loaders, also includes the successful skid steer loaders. On display is the SR 150 which, together with the SR 130 model, represents the new generation skid steer loaders launched by the company earlier this year. These award-winning compact and multi-purpose machines set new standards with premium power, increased torque and enhanced operator comfort and visibility.
 
Also on display for the road construction industry, the 845B motor grader that features an FPT Industrial 6.7-liter engine with variable horsepower curves to match the requirements of various applications and deliver the best fuel efficiency.
 
Completing CASE’s product display at the show will be the 821F wheel loader, particularly appreciated in the mining and quarry industries. The F Series wheel loader delivers fast acceleration, fast cycle times, high travel speeds and productivity, together with reduced fuel consumption.
