Clariant reinforces commitment to India’s growing paints and coatings industry

Specialty chemicals manufacturer Clariant highlighted its specialised range of innovative and sustainable pigments and pigment preparations, at the biennial conference of the Indian Paint and Coating Association (IPCA). At the conference held in Mumbai, Clariant emphasised on its pigment preparations that offer low volatile organic compounds (LVOC) attributes, infrared (IR)-reflective properties and super-transparent colorant solutions, thereby reinforcing its commitment to cater to the unmet needs in the paints & coatings industry in India.
At the event, Nitin Vaidya, Senior Technical Manager – Coatings, BU Pigments, presented a technical paper on ‘Innovative approach to Colorants’, which covered three colour solutions for the paints and range is suited for high-rise towers and roof-tops, offering long-lasting exterior finishes. Also, it contributes to substantial cooling and offers aesthetically pleasing effects.
