GILE embraces e-commerce trends in the lighting industry

GILE collaborates with Yang’s Lighting to launch “Yang’s Selection” in Hall 6.1, redefining sourcing models using e-commerce, AI, and new media.
GILE, celebrating its 30th anniversary, continues to lead lighting innovation, redefining its role in modern society and improving quality of life. As AI and other technologies advance, so do purchasing models, with e-commerce and new media leading the way. Social media reels, live streams, and AI-powered marketing have become essential tools for lighting retailers looking to showcase products, boost creativity, and increase brand visibility. The rise of social commerce has created dynamic new channels for driving sales.
GILE, a leading industry platform, is embracing these trends through a collaboration with Yang Guo Ding, founder of Yang’s Lighting and CEO of Zhongshan Yang Lighting Technology Co. Ltd. The partnership includes the launch of “Yang’s Selection,” a themed area in Zone A’s Hall 6.1. This dedicated space will explore new sourcing models and rethink industry practices by combining e-commerce and modern marketing strategies.
Six lifestyle trends are explored in Hall 6.1
By displaying a few lighting fixtures from “Yang’s Selection” in six themed pavilions—”La Dolce Vita and Parenting-focused,” “Affordable Lux,” “Stylish,” “Art-Centric,” “Smart & Sustainable,” and “Innovative Optoelectronics Design”—Hall 6.1 goes beyond the conventional trade show format.
La Dolce Vita and the Parenting-focused Lifestyle Pavilion
This pavilion offers a variety of lighting options, including eye comfort lighting (ceiling lights, table lamps, floor lamps, and fan lights), mood lighting, and interactive lighting. When integrated into the home, these lighting solutions provide soothing and comfortable illumination, as well as dynamic, interactive environments that adapt to the needs of the users. They are intended to improve the ambiance of living spaces, resulting in a relaxing and welcoming environment that prioritises comfort and functionality.
Affordable Lux Lifestyle Pavilion
This pavilion features elegant lighting products such as crystal chandeliers, artistic lighting fixtures, and nature-inspired or sustainable designs. Affordable luxury lighting fixtures have grown in popularity in recent years, offering stylish designs that elevate interior spaces while remaining within budget. These fixtures combine sophistication and functionality, resulting in a visually appealing and inviting environment. Aside from illumination, they serve as statement pieces that add character and warmth to modern homes, combining luxurious aesthetics with everyday accessibility.
Stylish Lifestyle Pavilion
This pavilion specialises in artistic lighting fixtures, custom designs, and commercial lighting solutions. Design-orientated lighting, with its variety of shapes and designs, has evolved from basic illumination to become an essential component of interior aesthetics. These fixtures improve home design and create a distinct atmosphere in popular styles like Nordic minimalism and vintage industrial. Warm lighting options create a cosy, relaxing atmosphere, while bold, creative designs blend functionality and artistry to enhance the visual appeal of any space.
Art-centric Lifestyle Pavilion
This pavilion showcases contemporary lighting solutions, with an emphasis on geometric lighting fixtures, nature-inspired designs, minimalist aesthetics, and innovative 3D-printed luminaires. Modern lighting goes beyond basic functionality, transforming lighting fixtures into sculptural art pieces that enrich interior spaces through the creative use of shapes and forms. These lighting solutions combine sleek aesthetics, advanced features such as sound control and adjustable colour temperature, as well as bold geometric designs, organic forms, and minimalist structures, to create a personalised experience while making and striking a visual impact. Modern lighting uses light as both an artistic and functional element, enhancing ambiance and design.
Smart and Sustainable Lifestyle Pavilion
This pavilion includes outdoor lighting, path lights, landscape lights, courtyard lights, outdoor strip lights, pool lamps, solar lamps, and more. Intelligent lighting systems combined with aesthetically pleasing designs result in harmonious and functional outdoor environments. By combining smart technologies such as motion sensors and solar power with visually appealing forms, these solutions promote sustainability by strengthening the bond between humans and nature.

Innovative Optoelectronics Design Pavilion
This pavilion displays innovative lighting products such as invisible lighting, intelligent home lighting, holographic projection, and advanced lighting applications. Circadian lighting provides tailored illumination that corresponds to natural biological rhythms, promoting better sleep and well-being. Holographic dining tables provide interactive and engaging dining experiences, while LED mood lighting gives spaces a dynamic ambiance. These intelligent lighting solutions integrate seamlessly into modern life, improving both functionality and atmosphere.
