Henkel appoints Ashish Pradhan as Business Director for industrial adhesives division [June 2013]

Henkel Adhesive Technologies India, a subsidiary of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, Germany, has appointed Ashish Pradhan as Business Director for industrial adhesives division. The India portfolio of Henkel Adhesives comprises of three business divisions; namely, industrial adhe-sives, general industry adhesives, and automotive engineering and components. The beauty care division comprises of the Schwarzkopf and Indola Professional.
Mr Pradhan will be responsible to drive the business processes and improve the profitability of the industrial adhesives division that caters to food, flexible packaging, shoe, construction, printing and diaper industry amongst others. A mechanical engineer and a management grad-uate from Mumbai University, Mr Pradhan has more than 20 years of experience in the flexi-ble packaging industry and has been associated with Henkel for almost 2 years before he was elevated to his new role.
Commenting on his new role within the group, Mr Pradhan said, “My journey with Henkel has been very exciting and challenging. The industrial adhesive market holds a lot of potential in the country and Henkel being a market leader in the space, gives me further vigour to take the division to higher standards.”
