ICACI announces International Conference on ‘Modern trends in construction technology’

Aptly titled, ‘Modern Trends in Construction Technology’, the two-day conference will be held in Mumbai at the Lalit Hotel from 6th to 7th October 2022.

India Chapter of ACI, one of the largest ACI Chapters, is in its 43rd year of operations and is privileged to receive the ‘Excellent Chapter’ award from ACI for over two decades. Given the now-steady management of COVID-19 outbreak, the India Chapter of American Concrete Institute (ICACI) has decided to hold an in-person conference in early October 2022 to provide industry professionals with an overdue opportunity to meet discuss and debate new exciting trends applicable to the construction industry.

India Chapter’s parent body, the American Concrete Institute (ACI), is a co-sponsor of the conference, and a host of likeminded technical associations have offered their support. It will assemble many of the key decision-makers from the government, private sector, and designers, consultants and academicians of the construction, concrete and engineering sectors.

Conference Convener, Mr. Chetan Raikar, elucidates: “The COVID-19 pandemic prevented us from holding a traditional conference for the last two and a half years. Therefore, we are particularly excited to announce our first international event post the pandemic. Our conference on ‘Modern Trends in Construction Technology’ will combine the brightest of minds, and give industry professionals an opportunity to collaborate and expand the fraternity with path-breaking advances.”
