IRCON secures ₹1,200 crore railway project

IRCON secures ₹1,200 crore railway project

In a recent filing with the exchange, the Railway PSU, IRCON International Ltd, announced securing a significant railway project valued at approximately ₹1,200 crore through its joint venture with Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon Pvt Ltd (DRA), known as Ircon-DRA JV.

The project demands the construction of the Kottavalasa-Koraput Doubling Project in Odhisha from Shivalingapuram Station to Borraguhalu Station in Andhra Pradesh. Operating in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode, the project is scheduled to be completed in 1,260 days.

The East Coast Railway has awarded this project a total cost of ₹1,198.09 crore. As part of the Ministry of Railways, IRCON stands as a prominent turnkey construction company.
