‘One Earth’ gets Green Building of the Year award

One Earth Project, Suzlon’s Global HQ, conceived and managed by Synefra Engineering & Construction Ltd has been awarded the “Green Building of the Year” award at the Property Awards held in Mumbai. Synefra Engineering & Construction Ltd is a Tanti Group Company.
 
Developed in an area of 41,000 sq. mtr (10.13 acres), One Earth, one of the largest green building projects in the India with a built up of over 8,00,000 sq ft. Synefra has set  benchmarks  for energy and water efficiency with incorporating innovative aspects of engineering and construction. The accolade has been conferred to One Earth for its whole-building approach to sustainability by attaining key areas of human and environmental health, sustainable site development, efficient water, energy and waste methods, materials and resource selection, indoor environmental quality and most important innovation and design processes.
 
Having already received numerous prestigious award ratings for their flagship project Suzlon One Earth, namely Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification by IGBC which was felicitated at Washington DC by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as well as the 5 Star by Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA), Synefra has achieved another milestone by bagging this award.
