Pennar receives orders worth ` 50 cr [June 2013]

Pennar Industries Ltd. announced receipt of orders worth ` 50 crore for cold formed profiles, tubes and engineered components. The orders were received from Integral Coach Factory, Texmaco, J Kumar Infra Projects, ALF Engineering, IVRCL, IJM Infrastructure, and others.
Commenting on the development, Suhas Baxi, President and CEO of Pennar Industries, said, “Pennar has received prestigious orders from the Integral Coach Factory, Texmaco, J Kumar Infra Projects, ALF Engineering, and others worth ` 50 crore. This is reflective of stability in new orders and the order backlog position. Our efforts at offering new products in the area of tubes and press metal components, along with a focus on solar projects has definitely helped in handling the continuing stress in our key markets.“
The order from J Kumar Infra Projects Ltd. (Mumbai) is for supplying of sheet piles to Delhi Metro Rail.
