Shilpa Architects’ YOWDEE for single family homes [Apr 2012]

Shilpa Architects, Planners and Designers, based in Chennai, announced the project 'YOWDEE' as part of its first ever CSR initiative to address the need for high quality and well-designed single family homes around the world.
To bridge the staggering gap between the demand and supply for this segment in India, YOWDEE will provide customisable and standardised good for construction home designs for free, to the millions of middle class Indians who already own a small piece of land and aspire to home ownership. This model is particularly designed to focus on the homeowner by ensuring price efficiency, transparency and quality.
