Tata Projects and CEAI hold seminar on contracts managements

Tata Projects (TPL) along with Consulting Engineers Association of India (CEAI) organised a two-day seminar on ‘contracts management’ in Hyderabad. TPL executive director and COO, AK Misra, complemented CEAI for its association with Tata Projects and achieving goals on knowledge-sharing through such awareness programmes amongst the professional fraternity.
 
The event saw some high profile personalities and professionals engaged in manufacturing and construction industries, consulting and the legal profession. The seminar was inaugurated by NVS Reddy, managing director, Hyderabad Metro, who emphasised the need for enhancement of skills for proper conceptualisation, formulation, documentation, interpretation and administration of contracts, especially in the mega projects like Hyderabad Metro Rail Project.
 
Bogdan Oprea of Romania, a renowned international FIDIC trainer, contract consultant and arbitrator was the main faculty of the seminar and ably supported by PV Amarnadha Prasad, an eminent engineer and an advocate at the Supreme Court of India, as well as RN Raghavan, an eminent consultant.  The inaugural proceedings were done by TPL vice president, A Venkateshwar, who also thanked the TPL and CEAI departments who was present at the seminar.
