Design Cafe launches experiential studio with VR

Design Cafe has launched its first experiential studio which uses virtual reality to give its customers a complete 360-degree experience of what their dream home will ultimately look like.

Located at R City Mall, Ghatkopar in Mumbai the store is spread over 15,000 sq ft and offers cutting-edge materials, finishes, designs and styles to help one put their personal touch to the whole home design experience. Design Café’s experience centre boasts of 13 kitchens displays, seven living spaces, two large living-dining spaces in addition to a one-bedroom-hall-kitchen show flat.

This is Design Café’s third studio after the last one was launched in Bangalore in September last year. The company is a full-service professional interior design and build firm, led by architects and focused on providing designer homes personalised to the client’s ideas and requirements at competitive prices. The company has also devised solutions for space maximisation and multi-functional designs and provide up to 20 per cent extra space per sq ft in all their projects.

Gita Ramanan, who co-founded Design Cafe with Shezaan Bhojani, said, “With the opening of this Design Café experience centre in Mumbai, we are committed to identify and understand the specific details of our customers across segments and provide them with personalised home interiors design experience like never before. Mumbai is our first city after being successful in home ground Bangalore and hence very critical.”
