VIVA launches Mohali experience centre for design excellence

VIVA Composite Panels launches its Experience Centre at JLPL’s Sector 82, Mohali, Punjab promoting architectural innovation in Chandigarh and North India.

VIVA Composite Panels Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with local business partner Jaspreet Singh Kathuria of A V Metals, launches a new Experience Centre in Mohali, Punjab, propelling the architectural landscape of Chandigarh and the surrounding region forward. This hub gives architects, designers, and builders in Chandigarh and Punjab direct access to a wide selection of façade and composite panel options, hence promoting the region’s architectural growth.

This facility, strategically positioned in JLPL’s Sector 82, is intended to serve as a focus for modern design solutions, with a diverse range of finishes and panel designs. The opening of this facility demonstrates Mohali’s rise as a focus for architectural and construction innovation, which will help to grow the construction industry in North India.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Prakash Jain, Chairman & Managing Director of VIVA Composite Panels Pvt. Ltd., and Mayank Jain, Director of VIVA Composite Panels Pvt. Ltd. Notable guests included Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia, President of the IIA Chapter in Punjab, and Charanjit Singh Shah, Principal Architect at Creative Architects and widely known as the “Airport King.” The participation of several renowned architects, like Ar. Sidharth Mahim Bansal, Principal Architect at SBE Architect, and industry leaders, emphasises the importance of this occasion.

The evening concludes with an exclusive event at Radisson Red in Mohali, co-hosted by VIVA and the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA). The seminar, titled “AI in Architecture,” investigates emerging technology in design. Er. Nipun Syal, a structural engineer, gave a keynote address on AI’s transformational role in architecture. Dr. Ajay Sharma, a Software & Skill Training AI Expert, presented views on AI integration in the sector, while Faizer Ali Dastagir, National Head of Projects at VIVA Composite Panels Pvt. Ltd., addresses the company’s future product initiatives.

A lively panel discussion ensued, comprising Charanjit Singh Shah, Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia, Dr. Aja Sharma, Ar. Sidharth Mahim Bansal, and Mayank Jain, who discusses the future of AI in architecture and the industry’s potential for innovation.
