KMC plans to invests around Rs. 52 Crores in West Bengal

Solar Energy: Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) the Parks and Square department of the Corporation plans to illuminate 16 major parks in the city with solar lights. West Bengal government has sanctioned Rs 52 crore in this regard. As part of first phase, the solar plants will come up at Desbandhu Park, Santosh Mitra Square, College Square, Md Ali Park, Maddox square, Subhas Sarobar Park among others. The work is likely to start soon at Kolkata in West Bengal. Kolkata Municipal Corporation has plan to invests around Rs. 52 Crores.
