Airports Authority of India plans to expand the runway in Tamil Nadu

Aviation / Airport: Airports Authority of India the Tiruchirappalli International Airport is an international airport serving Tiruchirapalli in the state of Tamil Nadu. The authority has decided to expand the runway to around 3,200 m (10,500 ft) initially from the existing 2,480 m (8,136 ft) and later to 3,800 m (12,500 ft).
