DS Group wins LEED Platinum certifications

With the objective to improve operational effectiveness and further environmental objectives, DS Group’s Noida headquarters obtains LEED Platinum certification and LEED Zero carbon accreditation.

Under the USGBC Existing Building – O+M Programme Version 4.0 category, Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) was awarded granted a Platinum Green Building certification by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). The Group’s Noida headquarters, which houses the Corporate office, an R&D centre, and revolutionary production facilities, has been granted the accreditation, which is good for the next five years.

Based on an evaluation of eight criteria water efficiency, transportation and location, indoor environmental quality, sustainable sites, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, innovation, and regional priority credits the certification is awarded. DS Group receives a score of 109 out of 110 at the time of recertification in June 2024, up from 104 in the prior edition.

This accomplishment supports India’s goal of attaining net-zero emissions by 2070 and shows our continuing commitment to environmental sustainability.”

The building also obtained LEED Zero carbon accreditation in June 2023 because to a variety of energy-saving innovations, automation, and improves operational effectiveness.
