Greaves Cotton appoints new MD & CEO [Dec 2011]

Greaves Cotton appointsnew MD & CEOGreaves Cotton, a Rs.1,700 crore engineering company with core competencies in diesel / petrol engines, gensets and construction equipment, appoints the MD and CEO. Sunil Pahilajani has been appointed as MD & CEO Designate of Greaves Cotton Limited with effect from October 21. He has taken over position from Prabhakar Dev who has retired on November 4. Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Pahilajani held the position of CEO Designate in the company. According to a press statement, his role as MD & CEO will entail overseeing the company’s operations and performance while guiding it to retain leadership position in engines and infrastructure equipment.
