IDS presents Giopato & Coombes’ Maehwa line, a gorgeous collection of lighting fixtures inspired by the delicate beauty and natural harmony of plum blossoms. This collection exemplifies IDS’ commitment to combining innovative design techniques with the tranquil grace of nature.

The Maehwa series has a distinct ceiling and wall design that enables each element to interact seamlessly, resulting in a free-flowing architectural landscape. The modular brass structure, constructed with cutting-edge free-form techniques, curves smoothly like plum tree limbs. These branches are adorned with glass spheres that bloom freely, suggesting plum flowers at various stages of bloom. These spheres, shaped to resemble a pistil encircled by an unbloomed corolla, create a lovely, pleasant glow. Each sphere encases the light source and is supported by a flexible electric line that naturally aligns itself.

These spheres give a breathtaking creative depth to any home or office and are available in a variety of finishes, including transparent, translucent, and flushed, as well as delicate, natural hues such as pastel pink, smoky grey, and opal white. The flexible cable shines gradually, giving the whole look a warm, inviting glow.
