IGBC Gold certification awarded to Lubi Industries’ headquarters

Lubi Industries’ eco-friendly headquarters near Ahmedabad secures IGBC Gold status, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices.

Lubi Industries LLP, a leading manufacturer of pumps, motors, EV solutions, valves and solar products, is announcing that its Ahmedabad corporate campus has received the renowned gold certification from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

Lubi Industries’ dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility is recognised by the IGBC Gold certification. The company’s headquarters near Tragad in Ahmedabad achieves high requirements in seven important environmental categories as outlined by the IGBC for Green New Buildings. These are Sustainable Architecture and Design, Site Selection and Planning, Water Conservation, Energy Efficiency, Building Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Innovation and Development.

Lubi Industries’ headquarters has several environmentally friendly features, including modern water conservation technologies like sensor-operated faucets that reduce water waste and a comprehensive rainwater harvesting system to replenish groundwater. The entire wastewater generated is recycled and utilised in a captive treatment facility. Furthermore, the facility generates 70 KWh of solar energy, lowering its carbon footprint. The corporation has set aside 25 percent of the campus’s space for green areas.

Lubi Industries has also implemented steps to promote sustainable transportation, with 25 percent of parking spaces outfitted with EV charging stations. The campus employs an energy-efficient chiller-based cooling system, which is supplemented by a cutting-edge building management system with an automatic shut-off function after sunset, maximising energy efficiency during non-occupancy and non-working hours.
