Interarch opens new PEB manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh

By opening its fifth PEB construction facility in Andhra Pradesh, Interarch Building Products aims to increase its production capacity, generating employment and fostering regional growth.

Leading company in the pre-engineered building (PEB) industry, Interarch Building Products Limited, states that it recently inaugurated its fifth PEB production facility, or fourth fully integrated unit, at Attivaram Village, District Nellore, State of Andhra Pradesh. With state-of-the-art equipment, this manufacturing plant can produce pre-engineered metal roofing and cladding systems as well as pre-engineered steel (PEB) structures. The expansion of the industrial sector in the area will be significantly helped by this plant.

Phase 1 of the facility, which occupies 4 acres of the plot and is being built at an expense of INR 40 crores (including land cost), has been formally opened by the company. Phase 1 investment is being financed by internal accruals and will add 20,000 MT annually to Interarch’s installed capacity. About 250 additional individuals now have work options thanks to this unit, which is helping the local economy.

In addition, the firm held the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 2 of the facility, which will occupy 6 acres of the plot and add 40,000 MT to the company’s installed capacity, bringing the total capacity to 2 Lac MT annually. Phase 2’s 2 lac square feet of plant space will likely be put into service within the course of the following seven to eight months. Phase 2 would be established using funds from the IPO at a projected cost of 57 crores. The company estimates that it will generate 500 new direct and indirect jobs during Phase 2.

The newest facility is built to the greatest efficiency and quality requirements. Along with increasing production capacity, Interarch’s expansion is opening up new job opportunities and fostering regional economic growth.
