Konkan Railway Corporation plans to roped in a private sector partner in Maharashtra

Railways: Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd and Karad-Chiplun railway line announced in the last railway budget has moved forward. The Government of Maharashtra and the Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd have roped in a private sector partner for the construction of this line and MOU was signed in this regard on August 14, 2016 in Mumbai at Karad in Maharashtra.
