The growing demand for PEB structures is driven by speed, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.  PEBs reduce project timelines by up to 50 percent, making them ideal for warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing. Their eco-friendly nature and minimal material waste align with global sustainability goals, further boosting their adoption. Other factors fuelling the demand include rapid industrialisation, urbanisation, and the rise of e-commerce.  Technology integration—AI-driven design, BIM, and automation—will soon redefine PEB efficiency and customisation.  While factors like steel price fluctuations may pose challenges, the overall momentum will likely remain strong, with governments investing heavily in infrastructure.

What is the typical lifespan of your PEB structures, and what are your recommendations for their efficient recycling?
Well-designed, properly maintained PEB structures can remain intact for over 50 years. However, durability depends on material quality, environmental conditions, and regular maintenance. High-quality steel, corrosion-resistant coatings, and proper upkeep ensure longevity, making PEBs a reliable long-term investment. Since steel is one of the best recyclable materials, up to 90-95 percent of a PEB can be reused or repurposed.  Our recommended strategies for optimal recycling include designing for deconstruction, using bolted connections instead of welding for easier disassembly; material segregation, ensuring proper separation of steel, insulation, and other materials; and partnering with recycling firms, ensuring scrap steel re-enters the supply chain for new construction.

Some core technologies we adopt include ERP systems for streamlined operations, using advanced manufacturing equipment, benchmarking, and focusing on customer-centric benefits/solutions. All operational processes streamlined using the ERP system have facilitated efficient inter-departmental coordination, real-time tracking of projects, and reduced lead times. Some of our state-of-the-art machinery, like PTW beam welding machines, CNC plasma cutting machines, and automatic punching machines, enables precise and faster assembly site. Our enhanced precision, reduced lead times, and cost-efficiency have earned customer satisfaction and goodwill.

What challenges do you face in the manufacture of PEB structures?
Fluctuating raw material prices & competitive market pricing, payment recovery & cash flow management, precision & quality control, shortage of skilled workforce, logistics & site coordination issues, and project customisation & tight timelines are our key challenges. Maintaining profitability while offering competitive rates is challenging because of the high volatility in steel prices.
