Recent industry trends There is a positive note. Some of the road projects in Karnataka and Maharashtra and port projects have been kick started. SDLG has received many enquiries for road machineries and motor graders. In the past few months, growth has been enormous in the roads, ports and quarry segments compared to Q1 and Q2. However, it is not as much as SDLG saw in 2011. The company sees the prime minister inviting foreign investors to India to start business, which is a good sign for infrastructure improvement.
Expectation from BC India This time, the response to bC India has not been much by customers, especially from the south India. They don’t intend to visit Delhi during such low market scenario. However, bC India is the place for customers to enhance their knowledge about different products that will be displayed there.
Key attraction at stall SDLG will launch three products from its oil and lubricant range. First is the SDLG engine oil which is blended with hydro-cracked base oil to deliver higher levels of engine cleanliness, which in turn leads to longer engine life, better output efficiency and lower maintenance costs. Second is the SDLG hydraulic oil, which is also made from hydro-cracked base oil and offers better thermal stability to protect components from oxidation and sludge build up as they are exposed to the higher temperatures caused by working operations. Third is the SDLG gear oil, which is a lubricant to be used with a variety of transmission units. It offers long-term stable viscosity, which contributes to lower noise and offers better wear protection, even in the most demanding applications.
The new range of oil and lubricant is especially designed for SDLG machines to protect them against wear and tear – and to enhance the performance of their components. India is the first market outside China to offer customers the range of engine, hydraulic and transmission oil.
