Shree Cement launches Bangur Concrete

With the opening of its first Greenfield Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant in Hyderabad, Shree Cement Limited declared the debut of Bangur Concrete.

The factory, with 90 cubic metres per hour, was officially opened by the chairman of Shree Cement, Shri HM Bangur. The modern unit’s commissioning is in line with the company’s goal of becoming a multi-product operator in the core cement industry. Earlier this month, Shree Cements paid Rs 33.5 crore to acquire five of StarCrete LLP’s operational factories in Mumbai as part of this strategy. The total RMC capacity of the company is currently 512 cubic metres per hour. 

Speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director of Shree Cement Ltd, says, “This venture into Ready Mix Concrete marks our entry into a promising new line of business.
