Sharing his views on how technology is transforming the construction industry Shridhara C N, Head-Technical & Marketing, Preca Solutions India Pvt Ltd said, “Precast prestressed technology is transforming unhealthy way of current construction industry to healthy way. All the construction activities can be operated in a pre-planned manner. Labour health condition will increase because of healthy working hours. The pollutions like noise and dust can be avoided totally at site construction.”

Although precast industry is 80 years old technology in other country, the acceptance of this technology in the mind set of people is a challenge in the beginning of 2016. “But at the end of 2016, the acceptance of precast technology is increased in the people mind. This will ease the major obstacle for the growth of industry,” he adds.

Executing big volume of structures
Speaking on the adoption of technology Shridhara says, “We are moving in the path of growth. We are executing big volume of structures by adopting precast prestressed technology. Also we are stepping in to improve the infra sectors by supplying precast trenches. The closed precast trenches will help to make India wash from foul smells from open drainages. It will help to build the healthy and epidemic disease free society.”

Changing construction landscape
By using precast technology a lot of items can be improved to strengthen construction sector believes Shridhara. He says, “The precast planter boxes, small culverts, curved walls, fountains, seating (any shape) and even path ways can be constructed using precast technology. It will definitely ease the beauty and efforts of construction sector in big way.”
