Veena Industries Ltd. is a multinational company founded in 1980. It specialises in cutting, bending, welding, fabrication workplace, surface treatment, coating and tank cleaning. The company works under two business verticals: Syscom and Gensets.
Syscom has three manufacturing plants with total steel processing capacity of 4,800 tonnes a year. Gensets has been a leading manufacturer of silent diesel gensets ranging from 7.5KVA to 62.5KVA, serving more than 65,000 satisfied users. The company has commissioned first plant at MIDC, Bhosari, Pune to manufacture trailers for Mahindra Oven and base-frames and under-carriages for Atlas Copco India Ltd. All of its plants are certified for ISO 9001:2000.
Veena has a steel processing capacity of 48,000 tonnes on plant area of 5,000 square metres/12 acres and facilities for fabrication up to 25 mm. The capabilities of its plants include:• 7 laser cutting machines – 6 m length by 2m width (max)• 1 linear punching machine – table size 2.5 m by 1.25 m with sheet thickness of 6 mm)• 9 CNC press brakes – up to 400 tonnes (max length 4.3 m with sheet thickness of 12 mm max)• Over 100 welding stations (including robotic) and universal fixtures• Powder coating plant – capacity 1 million square metres a year• Shot blasting and painting – capacity 0.3 million square metres a year• Machining plant – 3 CNC turning centres, 1 turn-mill centre, cylindrical grinding, 2 CNC vertical turning centres. It can machine diameters from 40 mm to 500 mm and length up to 3 m.

Veena Industries has been serving a slew of leading global companies, such as JCB, Caterpillar, ABG Cranes, Leyland Deere, and Kobelco, to name a few.
The company is coming up with its third plant in Waki, Pune with the investment of Rs. 30 crore. The production will start in Q1 2013.
